Corporate media and informal educational programs were the topics that caught my attention the most from chapeter 9. It is crazy how in our present society everything is electronically worked out. Even speeches that are delivered my middle managers to their employees are now done by machines and softwares. I think it is pretty cool that our modern society is advancing with gigantic steps regardig technology. However, it is scary the fact that college graduates are not only competing against new and existing professionals but also against technological machines and programs. Moreover, the children programming caught my attention because I believe it is always nice to remember the good old days were all that matter on the weekends was to get up early and watch cartoons since 7 a.m. and finish homework for school later in the afternoon. Nowadays, we live in a fast paced environment that does not encourage us to focus on the beautiful details of life. Children, however, seem to be more receptive than adults to these unique aspects of life.
