I am not sure if we are still doing blog posts for chapter 4 or if we are supposed to do a blog post on chapter 5. Anyhow, the Live Contest section in chapter 5 really caught my attention because it mentions how people can stay up all night just to follow their favorite sports and athletes. Its said that even though males are by far the best target market for live sports programming, women are now also interested, and this opens the doors for equal opportunities in the athletics. I can see this with my sister, she is a proficient soccer player who stays at the house, even if everybody is going out, to finish watching a Real Madrid game. She also gets as excited as my Dad does when their favorite team wins. So I've been able to appreciate this phenomenon from a closer source.
